Every invoice with inventory products takes its quantities out of the warehouse you choose in the invoice header, costs them from the actual lots, and posts the cost of sales entry automatically on issue.
In the invoice header choose “Warehouse”. Before that, each product shows “Choose the warehouse to see stock”; after, it shows what is available there. An invoice with products and no warehouse cannot be issued.
Type the quantity. The system takes it from the oldest received lots first (FIFO), and the line cost is what those lots actually cost, not the product card cost.
For serial-tracked products you pick the units from the barcode button: the lots available in the warehouse appear, you select and confirm, and the quantity equals your selection. A slab is sold whole.
On “Save and send to ZATCA” the quantities leave the warehouse. If the quantity is short, the system rejects the invoice naming the product and the shortage.
A separate entry is posted: cost of goods sold (5102) debit and inventory (1105) credit, for the total cost of the lots that left.
No. Quotations are not tied to a warehouse, so they neither reserve nor check stock. Stock leaves only when the invoice is issued.
No. Drafts touch neither stock nor entries. Both happen on issue.
By the quantity you type, from the oldest lots first like a normal product. Picking slabs is only for serial-tracked products.
Plain services do not. A recipe service consumes its components, as in the recipe service lesson.
Create a transfer draft with source, destination, lot, and quantity, then approve it to move the goods and post the inter-branch entry.
Step by step: sign in to the Fatoora portal, create the activation code from “Onboard new solution unit/device”, copy it, then paste it in FOXIRA to complete the ZATCA Phase 2 link.
Step by step: link your branch with ZATCA, add your customer, pick the product from inventory, issue the invoice, and send it to your customer on WhatsApp.
Step by step: open the approved tax invoice, issue a credit note for its full value with a return reason, send it to ZATCA, and return the quantities to inventory. Plus how the amount is handled when the invoice is paid.
Step by step: upload the supplier invoice and AI reads it, save it as a draft and approve it, or upload a whole folder and review each invoice beside its paper.
A category groups similar products and carries their suggested profit margin and the accounts their entries go to.
Add a warehouse with its name, code, and branch, and make it the branch default if you like. A warehouse cannot be deactivated while it holds stock.
A product tracked by quantity: name and category, barcode, selling unit, then pricing.
From “Users”, open the employee, enable the inventory permissions they need, then save.
An invoice whose quantity exceeds warehouse stock is rejected with a message naming the product and what is available. Bring the goods in first, then sell.
Turn off “Allow free-text items” in POS and inventory settings, so the branch only accepts registered products and services.
Turn off “Allow seller to change the price” for the branch, or turn on “Lock price” for one product, so it sells only at the approved price with no discount.
Minimum = cost + minimum margin. Turn on price limits and any discount that drops the net price below it is rejected.
The opening balance brings in goods that existed before the system with their quantity and cost, posting inventory debit and capital credit.
A serial-tracked product: warranty, a number per piece, manual entry, and attributes recorded with each piece.
An area product: an automatic number per piece, square-meter unit, and attributes without dimensions, since dimensions are entered on receipt.
A cut-from product: no tracking, linear-meter unit, and each roll a lot with its length on receipt.
A fixed-price service: item type service, so tracking and unit lock, then a fixed-amount price.
A recipe service: components and default quantities, deducted from stock oldest-first on every sale.
A detailed purchase invoice brings goods into the warehouse on approval, posting inventory debit and supplier credit.
From the purchase line open the lots window and enter size and pieces per lot, or a serial per piece.
A purchase return (debit note) returns a quantity from an approved purchase invoice: it leaves stock and its entry is reversed.
An adjustment enters the counted quantity, so the system finds the shortage or surplus and posts it to the inventory shrinkage account.
Lot cost adjustment adds shipping and customs or removes a supplier discount from a shipment cost, and posts its entry automatically.
Stock balances: each product’s quantity per warehouse, with low (5 or less) and out of stock, filtered by warehouse and status.
The movement ledger records every receipt, issue, transfer, and adjustment with lot, cost, and reference, and stock balances come from it.
Every inventory operation posts its entry to “Journal Entries”: purchase, sale, opening balance, count, lot cost, transfer.
